我们做什么


The 平等的机会 Office (EOO) is absolutely committed to responding promptly and effectively to any allegation of prohibited conduct. Our highly trained 工作人员 members are dedicated to investigating complaints brought by members of the University community with the unwavering objective of investigating complaints of 歧视 and harassment in a completely fair, 公正的, 和适当的方式. 

We take our commitment incredibly seriously to providing an environment that is entirely free from any form of harassment and 歧视 based on characteristics such as race, color, 宗教, 性, 性别认同, 性别表达, 怀孕, 国家的起源, 祖先, 国籍, 年龄, 婚姻状况, 身体残疾, 精神残疾, 医疗条件, 性取向, military or veteran status, 遗传信息, or any other characteristic protected by applicable state or federal law. We take a proactive approach to investigating all complaints of harassment, 歧视, or 第九条 violations involving a University employee. Our team promptly responds to all complaints filed within the EOO, provides comprehensive educational programs to University 教师 and 工作人员 aimed at preventing and responding to harassment and 歧视, and collaborates on critical campus policy reviews. 

在EOO, we uphold a firm commitment to reviewing all allegations in a confidential, 敏感的, 快捷的方式. It is the unequivocal duty of every member of the University community to ensure compliance with University policy by immediately reporting any allegations of prohibited conduct to the Director of 平等的机会 and Investigations or to an individual identified as a 第九条 Coordinator or member of the University community.

As the designated office responsible for addressing incidents of 歧视 and harassment, we serve as the initial contact point for the resolution and/or investigation of all complaints regarding such conduct, as outlined in the University's official policies on:

Accessing 支持ive Measures


In the event of an alleged incident of harassment or 歧视, the 平等的机会 Office will provide supportive measures to individuals, regardless of whether or not they choose to report the incident in full detail or identify the alleged perpetrator to the University.
